As previously we have been talking about the great modifications for the Dodge models, known as Blacktop, we shall not forget about the 2012 Dodge Charger Blacktop that will soon be presented in Las Vegas at the exhibition of Consumer Electronics Show (that is scheduled for the January 10-13). The model comes with all black outfit, that is, the blackened windows, black alloys, smoked rear lights: basically all black, except for aluminum trim exhaust and headlights.
Another major highlight of this car is a specially designed audio system known as “Beats”, developed in collaboration with hip-hop legend Dr. Dre. The auto set of 10 speakers, 12-channel amplifier and a 8.4 “U-connect” screen was installed into this stylish muscle vehicle. This sound system is available as standard with the V8 engine from Chrysler.
Commenting on the partnership, Dodge’s main man Reid Bigland said: “Our goal in partnership with Beats by Dr. Dre is to integrate their recording studio-quality sound to our fans to feel and hear their favorite music as it was intended – as better performance and technology are the main assets of the new 2012 Dodge Charger ». Chrysler Group did not say if new kind of engines will power this model, but we expect a V8 with the volume of 5,7-liter or V6 with 3,6-liter.
