New supercar Dodge Viper ACR, which will be available to the US market in September, will receive as original equipment tires exclusively developed by Kumho Ecsta V720 sizes 295 / 25ZR19 (front axle) and 355 / 30ZR19 (rear axle).
Dodge says that tires were created specifically for the Viper ACR, and that they will provide the greatest contact area for mass-produced cars. Tires have a unique tread pattern and compounds; in comparison testing, it became clear that they can reduce lap times by 1.5 seconds compared to control racing tires.
Tires Kumho UHP Ecsta V720 used for original equipment have a special logo on the side wall of the ACR.
The new Dodge Viper ACR has a 8.4-liter V10 engine with capacity of 645 horsepower, a new adjustable suspension with Bilstein shock absorbers and carbon-ceramic brakes Matrix.
