It is expected that next year we will see the next generation of the charged version of Dodge Viper car. What’s interesting is that this great new sports car can become much more powerful than its predecessor, but only if the leadership of Fiat will allow it. In the parent company the management has decided not to allow the Viper to be faster than Ferrari F12 Berlinetta.

These are quite dissapointing news for all the fans of Viper. The fact is that Viper is far more capable and iconic with high power increase and fast ride. Moreover both cars have the same weight-to-power ration, which is equal to 2.2 kg for every 1-horsepower. Meanwhile, sources from the SRT reported that the 8.4-liter V10, used in the Viper ACR, could easily develop more than 730 horsepower.

As expected, the new product will have an aerodynamic body kit with a massive rear wing, sporty-tuned suspension with adjustable dampers, stiffer springs and upgraded brakes. Well, that would be very sad if due to the dumb policy about the limit of power we will see our beloved great new sports car in the “abridged” version.
