In the model range of big American pickup trucks Dodge already has one famous off-road version of the Ram 2500 Power Wagon, which stands out by the presence of electric winch, “mud” tires, enhanced protection of the bottom and locking differentials front and rear beam axle. But at this size pickup it’s just a whopper (total length – 6 meters!) And it is equipped with only a petrol 6.4-liter V8 rated at 410 horse powers.
The basis for the version Rebel Ram pickup was taken from more light series 1500. Engines will have two versions, both – petrol: the base will be the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 (305 hp, 364 Nm), and the fans 8-cylinder engines addressed 5 7-liter series Hemi V8, 395 hp issuing and 555 Nm of torque. Both engines are combined with only 8-speed automatic transmission. Dodge Ram 1500 Rebel with a 6-cylinder engine will be exclusively all-wheel drive, and a version with a V8 engine will be offered as a complete and rear-wheel drive.

Outwardly, this off-road Ram 1500 different expanders wings, new aluminum hood, motor protection and the “face” on the other grille and front bumper shortened, which increases the angle of entry.
